Ilves ja Bezerra duo koosneb tšellistist Silvia Ilvesest ja pianistist Samuel Bezerra'st. Mõlemad on kasvanud muusikalises keskkonnas, õppinud Euroopa parimates konservatooriumides ja akadeemiates ning pälvinud varem auhindu klassikalise muusika konkurssidel üle maailma.
Nad kohtusid esimest korda 2022. aasta juunis, viimasel päeval oma tudengielust Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemias, just kui toimus lõpetamispidu. Olles mõlemad ladina temperamendiga, muusika suhtes äärmiselt kirekad ning häbematult seltsivad ja võrgustikku loovad, märkasid nad kohe suurt võimalust koos särada – erinevate repertuaaride ja esitusviisidega, mis köidavad igat tüüpi publikut.
Esimese repertuaarivaliku tegid nad väga hoolikalt, valides eksootilist muusikat prantsuse ja Lõuna-Ameerika heliloojatelt, sealhulgas Francis Poulenc, Debussy, Darius Milhaud, Villa-Lobos ja Astor Piazzolla.
Duo esineb peamiselt era- ja avalikel üritustel Eestis.

Ilves and Bezerra duo is composed by the cellist Silvia Ilves and the pianist Samuel Bezerra. Both have grown up in a musical environment, studying in the best conservatoires and academies around Europe, and previously received awards in classical music competitions around the world. They first met in June 2022 at the very last day of their student life in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, while the celebration party was happening. Both having a latin character, very passionate about music and no shame to make networking happen, they immediately saw the big opportunity to shine together with different ideas of repertoire and the way at performing catching the attention of all types of audience. The first choice of repertoire was meticulously chosen with some exotic music by French and South American composers, including Francis Poulenc, Debussy, Darius Milhaud, Villa-Lobos and Astor Piazzolla. They mostly play at private and public events within Estonia. The duo is planning a tour in different countries for the near future.
